Needlecrafts

It all began when my grandmother pulled me into her lap and let me help her sew. She taught me how to use a sewing machine, knit, and cross-stitch before I was 10. The rest I picked up along the way. I prefer to create custom pieces and love to work with mixed media. Check out the gallery below!

Henna Art

Some hobbies leap headfirst into our lives. Henna tip-toed its way in. I encountered this ancient body art several times throughout my life, but it wasn’t until my 20’s that I got hooked and haven’t looked back since. Not only does henna have a rich history across several ancient and modern cultures, it is a feminine and healing art whose beauty lies in its ephemeral nature. In many ways, henna art saved my life and my sense of self.
